Individual courses are tailored entirely to your needs and requirements. You decide when, where, and how you will learn.
You can choose from face-to-face lessons at our PELICAN premises, or at your premises, or online lessons.
Our classrooms are located at Lidická 9 in Brno.
We will adapt the online platform to your preferences. MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet – it's up to you.
Based on your requirements, we will select an experienced Czech teacher, foreign teacher, or native speaker.
Before starting lessons, you will receive a free introductory consultation and a free meeting with your teacher.
Make your loved ones happy and give them something that no one can ever take away from them and that will support their intellectual and personal growth. We will prepare a gift voucher for a group course, individual lessons, or just for a certain amount, so that the recipient can choose for themselves. In addition, you can choose whether you want a physical voucher in an envelope or an electronic version in PDF format.

Individual courses at the PELICAN Language School take place on predetermined dates. You choose the day, time, and frequency of the course yourself after consultation with the school and the teacher. Unless otherwise specified, courses take place in the school building at Lidická 9. Lessons can also be held at another location, such as your workplace.
Yes, the price, course, and conditions of online individual lessons are the same as for face-to-face lessons. You can find more information about online individual lessons HERE.
Payment for individual lessons is made according to the payment instructions we will send you via email. We are also happy to issue an invoice. Lessons are paid for in advance. A minimum of 5 lessons must always be paid for, in other words, the minimum order is for 5 hours.
If you are unable to attend a lesson, you must notify the school office at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. If you do so, you will not be charged for the lesson.
If you do not attend an agreed lesson or do not cancel it in time, the lesson will be charged as if it had taken place.
If you are late and do not arrive for your scheduled lesson without informing the school/teacher within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time, the teacher will mark the lesson as having taken place and leave the lesson.
If the current lesson time does not suit you, please discuss a possible change with your teacher and then contact us by email at info@skolapelican.com. If there is a free classroom at the school at that time, we will be happy to move the lesson to your new preferred time.
A trial lesson for individual courses is not possible, but we offer the option of an introductory meeting with the teacher before the start of the individual course, which is free of charge and during which you can get to know each other for 15-20 minutes, discuss your learning goals, requirements, and so on.
Absolutely. If you are not satisfied with your teacher, we can easily replace them. Just contact us at info@skolapelican.com and we will take care of the rest.
If you wish to terminate your lessons, this is certainly possible. In this case, please contact the school office to discuss the details.
The languages offered for individual lessons include: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Czech, Russian, Polish, Modern Greek, Japanese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Chinese, and Norwegian.
